		Please hand in your Service booklets after our service. You will be handed a copy of the Act of  Remembrance for use at the War Memorial. We would appreciate the return of these too please,

Can You Help?

Church Autumn Clean Saturday 1st December from 9.30am Your help would be much appreciated to give the church a good clean for Advent and Christmas. Dust, polish, sweep, vacuum - whichever is your forte! Refreshments  will be on offer! A Dodgy Ticker - our Victorian church clock is now repaired but still in need of a facelift. We have just about achieved our goal for the Ding Dong Appeal but there is still time to donate! The clock face still needs regilding. Our grateful thanks to all who have contributed so far. You may have already noticed that the work to replace the motor for the chimes was completed on Friday. We are delighted to hear them back in action! Peace Poppies To commemorate the end of WW1 we have created a display under the War Memorial on the north wall inside church. The poppies will remain in church until 24th November. Community Project - handrails for the lychgate steps The PCC have set in motion plans to erect handrails up the lychgate steps which are long overdue. Tim has registered us with the Community Initiative Fund via West Sussex Crowd to which you are all invited to make a pledge. Pledges of any amount are very welcome be it £2.00 or £50.00! This will prove to potential backers and other funders that our community is keen to achieve this project. WSCC will provide the remaining funding once we have pledged 50% of the required amount. We are looking to raise  £5,250.00 in pledges. The total amount required is £10,500.00. Please help by being vigilant Some churches in the Diocese have experienced recent break-ins and metal theft. Cuckfield , Bolney and Colgate have been targeted very recently. If you see anything untoward in or around church, please report it to the police and notify the churchwardens. Plastic milk bottle tops Please continue to save your plastic milk bottle tops and drop them in the bin in church (washed!) They raise funds for the Chestnut Tree Children's Hospice resources. It is worth noting that these tops cannot be recycled in your wheelie bin.
