A short Act of Remembrance scheduled for Sunday 8th November at the War Memorial, Ryecroft Road will take place as planned,
mustering at 10.55am. Rev Michael Windridge will lead us in prayers and wreaths will be laid.
Everyone is welcome but please ensure that you are socially distanced.
A pre-recorded Act of Remembrance Service will also be available on the Website for those unable to attend.
 
Collect:  Lord of the nations, Saviour and judge of all: remove from human hearts all bitterness and hate, grant to those who have died in war your mercy and forgiveness and bring us all to the peace of your eternal Kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who suffered and died, and now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.  Amen.

The service is followed by our 'Skype Coffee Break' at 11am.

Night Prayer (Compline) on Skype
A service of Compline is livestreamed on Tuesday evenings at 8pm.
This weeks service (10th) has been CANCELLED
 
Loving God, at this time of crisis when so many are suffering, we pray for our nation and our world. Give our leaders wisdom, our Health Service strength, our people hope. Lead us through these parched and difficult days to the fresh springs of joy and comfort that we find in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Church expenditure has not substantially changed during the COVID-19 outbreak.
We still need to support mission, insure the church building, continue outward giving and contribute towards clergy costs.

Non-perishable goods, toiletries, pasta, cereals, tinned goods etc are especially welcome at this challenging time.
We now have FSW baskets both in church and in the Eight Bells - Please continue to donate when passing or visiting.

Please continue to save your plastic milk bottle tops as they cannot be recycled in your wheelie bin.

Please help by being vigilant
