Covid 19
Michael, Tim and Sue have taken the decision to continue with our current restrictions for everyone's safety for all church services. Hymn books will be available from now on with singing but wearing masks is necessary. The door will be left open at all times.  Please see the website for all details. We will review on a regular basis and keep you informed.

Intercessions:  Please continue to pray for those who are sick and in need within our families and community especially - Albert and Joan Clifford, Fred Harrison, John Higginbotham, Michael Hudson,  Rita List, Annabel Moir, Jacky Philpott, David Robins, Jenny Scofield, Steven Stone, Mike Vidler, Hudson Wiggins, Craig, Beth and baby William James and all those carers locally who quietly carry out their duties with little support or respite available at this time.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Geoffrey Boniface who passed away this week and remember Jill, Paul and Judith as they mourn

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Alfie Hyatt and his family who mourn.

Our prayers especially for Afghanistan - for those who continue to suffer under a new regime and live in  terror, who are unable unable to leave the country or will be forced to find a way out on foot. All will suffer arduous journeys.

We also continue to pray especially for all nations tackling Coronavirus, for persecuted Christians abroad and for those lands suffering the worst effects of climate change including the people of southern Madagascar, who face famine after three years of drought.


The Weeks Ahead

Repairs are now finished to the tower. The scaffolding will be taken down over the ensuing week.

Sunday 19th December Sung Eucharist at 9.30am

Please note that Michael, Tim and Sue have sadly made the decision cancel Nine Lessons and Carols on 19th December and the Crib Service on Christmas Eve

Christmas morning Sung Eucharist will be held at 9.30am

Sunday 26th December 9.30am Said Service of the Word with Michael.

Anyone wishing to attend Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve will be made very welcome at Holy Trinity, Cuckfield. The service will begin at 11.15pm

Parish Giving Scheme

Church expenditure has not substantially changed since the COVID-19 outbreak.
We still need to support mission, insure the church building, continue outward giving and contribute towards clergy costs.

Could you help to stock the FSW foodbank?  NB next collection will not be until January
FSW will continue to distribute non-perishable food to known families. Currently gifts are collected from church on the second Wednesday of each monthPlease drop your offerings into the box as near to that day as possible. Please continue to save your plastic milk bottle tops (supermarket only) as they cannot be recycled in your wheelie bin.
