Now that all restrictions have been lifted, Michael, Tim and Sue can only leave yours and everyone's safety to common sense while the virus is still about. For the next few weeks we will leave the door open and keep under review.
The church is open every day for private prayer.

Thank you so much to Emily and her team for the beautiful flower arrangements and to Sarah for creating a lovely Easter Garden. Also to everyone else who has helped in any way to make Easter such a success. The children's service was a delight - thank you Michael and Sarah!

Intercessions: Please continue to pray for those who are sick and in need within our families and community especially - Mary Chamberlin, Albert and Joan Clifford, John Higinbotham, Michael Hudson, Anne Leggett, Rita List, Annabel Moir, Peta Pratt, Oliver Pullen, Jenny Scofield, Mike Vidler, Hudson Wiggins, Baby William James and all those carers locally who quietly carry out their duties with little support or respite available at this time. Pray also for Toby and Emily deBaerdemaecker who were married here on Saturday.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Brian Clement. Brian's funeral will take place in church at 2.30pm on Friday 29th April. Pray for Jo and all the family as they mourn.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of David Williams and pray for Frances, Andrew and Denice as they mourn their loss. David's funeral service will take place in church on Tuesday 3rd May at 1.30pm.
Peta keeps cheerful and her speech improving although mobility is poor. She is currently on Solomon Ward at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. She will be moved to The Princess Royal Hospital as soon as there is a bed available for further rehabilitation. She has been delighted to receive cards and messages so let's keep them going!
Molly and Jack (parents David and Sas) are to be baptised on Saturday 30th April at 12.30pm.
Everyone is invited to attend to welcome them into our church family.
Hazel sends her love and good wishes. Fr Martin and I have both spoken to her in recent days.
Our prayers especially for the desperate situation in Ukraine, also Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, Southern Madagascar and all countries of the world who are suffering as a result of war, famine, drought, persecution and political unrest.
God of peace and justice,
we pray for the people of Ukraine and all other nations suffering strife today.
We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or peace,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion
to guide their decisions.
Above all, we pray for all your precious children, at risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Amen
We continue to pray for all nations tackling Coronavirus.

Summer Prize Draw and Village Day
We are about to launch our Prize Draw once again. Tickets will be included in in your copy of the May Bolney Magazine or available from Sue.
We are in urgent need of good prizes please and your help will be invaluable.
The raffle will be drawn on Village Day Saturday 25th June at 4pm.

The new magazine is now delivered to every home in the parish. There are extra free copies available in church for non-residents and visitors.

Could you help to stock the FSW foodbank?
FSW continue to distribute non-perishable food to known families. Currently gifts are collected from church on the second Wednesday of each month. Please drop your offerings into the box as near to that day as possible. We also welcome gift vouchers or financial donations that can be directed at supporting the families most in need and as usual, items can be left in the baskets either in Church or the Eight Bells. Plastic milk bottle tops - Chestnut Tree House Childrens Hospice
Please continue to save your plastic milk bottle tops (supermarket only) as they cannot be recycled in your wheelie bin. There is a collection bin in church. Huge thanks to Ron and Anne Leggett for making regular deliveries to the collection point in Chichester.
Please help by being vigilant
