Intercessions:  Please continue to pray for those who are sick and in need within our families and community especially - Mary Chamberlin, Albert and Joan Clifford, Helen, John Higinbotham, Michael Hudson, Anne Leggett, Rita List, Annabel Moir, Peta Pratt, Jenny Scofield, Mike Vidler, Hudson Wiggins, Baby William James and all those carers locally who quietly carry out their duties with little support or respite available at this time.
Pray also for those families in the village who have opened their homes to those made homeless as a result of war in Ukraine.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Doug Mills and Ruth and his family as they mourn.
Also please pray for the soul of Kim Sunderland-Smith who passed away earlier in the week. A former Bolney resident with Leigh and her family.

Peter Sutton is to be ordained Deacon on Saturday 2nd July at St Mary's, Kemptown. He will serve his curacy at St Giles, Horsted Keynes. Congratulations Peter and our prayers go with you.

Will Lyon Tupman, who spent a couple of weeks in the parish working alongside Fr Keith, is to be priested in Ely Cathedral on the same day. It was a lovely surprise to have him with us at Thursday Communion recently. He is engaged to be married (to a priest's daughter!) in 2024. Congratulations Will!

Tristan Meares is also to be ordained Deacon in Blackburn Cathedral. He will serve his curacy in Lancashire.

Peta's ongoing care has now been arranged in a nursing home.

Our prayers especially for the desperate situation in Ukraine, also Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, Southern Madagascar and all countries of the world who are suffering as a result of war, famine, drought, persecution and political unrest.
We continue to pray for all nations tackling Coronavirus.

Gracious God, we give you thanks
for the reign of your servant Elizabeth our Queen,
and for the example of loving and faithful service
which she has shown among us.
Help us to follow her example of dedication
and to commit our lives to you and to one another,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
