Michael and Sabrina are taking a well earned holiday in the sun from today until 24th January. We wish them a good rest.
Martyn, our brilliant and hard working organist and website administrator, is taking a well deserved holiday and is back with us next week.
We are very grateful to Mark Travers for accompanying us with the hymns today.

Intercessions: Please pray for those who are sick and in need within our families and community especially - Brian Cook, Tom Crawford, Sandra Gibson, Daisy Hicks, Michael Hudson, Rita List, Rose Luce, Annabel Moir, Adrian Morris, Peta Pratt, Paul Riseley, Jenny and Peter Scofield, Hudson Wiggins and all those carers locally who quietly carry out their duties with little support or respite available at this time.
Our prayers especially for the desperate situation in Ukraine, also Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, Southern Madagascar and all countries of the world who are suffering as a result of war, famine, drought, persecution, political unrest and continued Coronavirus outbreaks.

Night Prayer (Compline) on Skype 8pm
Compline with Fr Martin is cancelled on Tuesday 10th and 17th of January. We will draw this short service of prayer to a close on Tuesday 31st January as it is felt it has 'run its course'.
We are very grateful to Martin for his care and conscientious duty over almost three years.

Ascension Church, Vale Road, Haywards Heath from 10am-1pm. The speaker will be the Rt. Rev. Ruth Bushyager, Bishop of Horsham, and her subject ‘Courageous Discipleship. How, in a challenging time for our churches, can we draw inspiration and strength from the first disciples?’ Come along to be encouraged in your own journey of faith.
Saturday Markets 10am - 12noon.

Bolney Village Chapel are offering 'warm spaces' with free tea, coffee and cake every Tuesday from 1st November 9.30am - 4pm. This is a generous offer on their part especially for those who are struggling to keep warm at home.
Holy Trinity, Cuckfield are resuming their free lunchtime concerts on Fridays

Church expenditure has not substantially changed since the COVID-19 outbreak.
We still need to support mission, insure the church building, continue outward giving and contribute towards clergy costs.

Could you help to stock the FSW foodbank?
FSW continue to distribute non-perishable food to known families. Currently gifts are collected from church on the second Wednesday of each month. Please drop your offerings into church as near to that day as possible. We also welcome gift vouchers or financial donations that can be directed at supporting the families most in need and as usual, items can be left in the baskets either in Church or the Eight Bells. Needs our support whether it is to help or buy lunch or coffee. There is a huge shortage of volunteers so if you can help to serve lunches you will be welcomed with open arms.
