Intercessions:  Please  pray for those who are sick and in need within our families and community especially - Brian Cook, Tom Crawford, Dilys Dunkin, Sandra Gibson, Michael Hudson, Rita List, Rose Luce, Annabel Moir, Adrian Morris, Peta Pratt, Paul Riseley, Jenny and Peter Scofield, Hudson Wiggins and all those carers locally who quietly carry out their duties with little support or respite available at this time.

We pray for the many thousands of people affected by the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria; for those who have been rescued, for the souls of those who have died and for the families suffering in their loss. Pray also for other parts of the world devastated by nature including the cyclone in New Zealand and landslides in Brazil.

Our prayers continue for the continuing desperate situation in Ukraine, a year on: also Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, Southern Madagascar and all countries of the world who are suffering as a result of war, famine, drought, persecution, political unrest and continued Coronavirus outbreaks.

And some happy news! Congratulations to Emily and Max on their engagement! Emily is Martin and Margaret's eldest granddaughter with very strong links to Bolney having been born in the village, baptised and confirmed at St Mary Magdalene!

FSW continue to distribute non-perishable food to known families. Currently gifts are collected from church on the second Wednesday of each monthPlease drop your offerings into church as near to that day as possible. We also welcome gift vouchers or financial donations that can be directed at supporting the families most in need and as usual, items can be left in the baskets either in Church or the Eight Bells. For more information check the FSW website or contact Sue.

Are you able to help with the occasional church cleaning?
If you can spare an hour or two once a month or less, we would be very grateful.
