Please pray for the repose of the soul of Hazel Clift and her family who mourn. Hazel's funeral will take place on Friday 18th August at 11.45am at The Surrey and Sussex Crematorium.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

Memories of Hazel Clift, contributed by her son, Martin.
Hazel touched many lives during her time. She was well known for being a kind and helpful person.
Hazel grew up near Battle in Sussex during WW2. Her fondness for music started early and by the age of 13 with encouragement from her school teacher she was playing the organ for church services at Crowhurst. As a young woman Hazel entered nursing at Kingston hospital. During this period she met and married Maurice.
Hazel & Maurice had 3 children. Karen, Elaine and Martin. I can still hear her calling us all for tea.
Having travelled abroad for Maurice’s job they finally settled in Crawley, Sussex where Hazel went back to nursing and also began teaching the piano. Still finding time to play at local churches and “take the old ladies shopping” in her Mini Metro while continuing to run the household.
Eventually Hazel started playing the fine instrument at Bolney.
Bolney church was one of Hazel's favourite places. She loved the people there and the tranquillity of the setting.
We all have fond memories of Hazel and will miss her greatly.
A further tribute will be in the September issue of Bolney Magazine.

Intercessions:  Please  pray for those who are sick and in need within our families and community especially - Tom Crawford, Dilys Dunkin, Sandra Gibson, Helen, Michael Hudson, Keith Littlejohn, Rose Luce, Annabel Moir, Adrian Morris, Peta Pratt, Paul Riseley, Jenny and Peter Scofield, Hudson Wiggins and all those carers locally who quietly carry out their duties with little support or respite available at this time.

Our prayers continue for the continuing desperate situation in Ukraine,  and for those trapped in Sudan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, Southern Madagascar and all countries of the world who are suffering as a result of war, famine, drought, persecution, political unrest and continued Coronavirus outbreaks.
