Covid 19
Michael, Tim and Sue have taken the decision to continue with our current restrictions for everyone's safety for all church services. Hymn books will be available from now on but no singing. Please see the website for all details.
We will review on a regular basis and keep you informed.

Please continue to wear face covering (unless you are exempted) and sanitise your hands on entry to church

We continue to keep the church open for private prayer. For your reassurance pews in the front two blocks are sanitised regularly.

Intercessions:  Please continue to pray for those who are sick and in need within our families and community especially -  

Albert and Joan Clifford, Fred Harrison, John Higinbotham, Michael Hudson,  Judith Kendra, David Kennard, Rita List, Annabel Moir, David Robins, Jenny Scofield, Steven Stone, Mike Vidler, Hudson Wiggins and all those carers locally who quietly carry out their duties with little support or respite available at this time.

We also continue to pray especially for all nations tackling Coronavirus, for persecuted Christians abroad and for the populations of East Africa & Pakistan whose crops are being devastated by locusts.

TEA AT AGATES
Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way to the success of our tea party.
A very enjoyable afternoon that paid off by moving to the Rawson Hall!

Ride and Stride
The annual fund-raiser for Sussex Historic Churches will be on Saturday 11th September.
Please see Marigold for details and sponsorship. She is hoping to take part again and would be delighted to have some company!
Half of any money raised goes to Historic Churches and half comes back to the church represented.

Holy Trinity, Cuckfield
The roof at Holy Trinity is in  urgent need of repair. 
Attached is a poster advertising an Open Garden in aid of funds.
They will be delighted for our support!

Parish Giving Scheme

Church expenditure has not substantially changed since the COVID-19 outbreak.
We still need to support mission, insure the church building, continue outward giving and contribute towards clergy costs.

Could you help to stock the FSW foodbank ?
FSW will continue to distribute non-perishable food to known families. Currently gifts are collected from church on the second Wednesday of each monthPlease drop your offerings into the box as near to that day as possible. We also welcome gift vouchers or financial donations that can be directed at supporting the families most in need and as usual, items can be left in the baskets either in Church or the Eight Bells. For more information check the FSW website or contact Clairegeorge@bolney.plus.com 
 
Plastic milk bottle tops - Chestnut Tree House Childrens Hospice 
Please continue to save your plastic milk bottle tops (supermarket only) as they cannot be recycled in your wheelie bin.
