Please continue to pray for the repose of the soul of Adrian Morris who worshipped with us for many years and those who mourn. Adrian will be interred near his mother in a cemetery in Sheffield.
Our prayers continue for the desperate situation in Ukraine, The Middle East, Lebanon and Syria and for those trapped in Sudan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, Southern Madagascar and all countries of the world who are suffering as a result of war, famine, drought, persecution and political unrest.

Ride and Stride for Sussex Historic Churches Saturday 12th September
Anyone is welcome to take part in this annual event! Enjoy a day on your bicycle or a walk between churches to raise money for Historic Churches. many churches throughout the Diocese will be open for you to drop in for some refreshment including St Mary Magdalene, Bolney. St Mary Magdalene has benefitted from grants from this trust. This is their biggest fund raiser for the year!
Parish Pilgrimage & Retreat - Mirfield, 25-27 September 2026 - Join us for a parish pilgrimage and retreat to the Community of the Resurrection, Mirfield, from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th September. This Anglican religious community in West Yorkshire offers a peaceful setting for worship, prayer, reflection and fellowship. The weekend will include worship with the community, time to explore the area, and opportunities to support their charitable work. Revd Elaine Dando (evd.macrina@btinternet.com) is coordinating the trip. Travel: Train tickets are now available via Grand Central Railway. Those travelling are planning to take the 11.17am London Kings Cross-Mirfield on Friday 25th September and return on the 4.13pm Mirfield-London Kings Cross service. Please book as soon as possible, as fares increase closer to the date. Senior Railcards and group tickets may offer additional savings. Accommodation options will follow shortly but the trip will not be expensive.

Bolney Magazine
The magazine is now delivered to every home in the parish. There are extra free copies available in church for non-residents and visitors. Closing date for articles is the first Friday of the preceding month. Email: bolneymagazine@gmail.com for information.

Could you help to stock the FSW foodbank?
FSW continue to distribute non-perishable food to known families. Currently gifts are collected from church on the second Wednesday of each month. Please drop your offerings into church as near to that day as possible. We also welcome gift vouchers or financial donations that can be directed at supporting the families most in need and as usual, items can be left in the baskets in Church. Plastic milk bottle tops - Chestnut Tree House Childrens Hospice
Please continue to save your plastic bottle tops from milk bottles. There is a collection bin in church. Our thanks go to Ron and Anne Leggett for generously giving their time and energy to deliver the tops to Chichester. It appears that along with Cowfold, we are one of the biggest contributors so please keep your collections coming in!

Batchelor's Field Community Cafe
Needs our support whether it is to help or buy lunch or coffee. There is a shortage of volunteers so if you can help to serve lunches and drinks you will be welcomed with open arms.
